After 20 plus years in the field, I opened Stepping Stones Counseling Services’ in May 2010 in Franklin, VA, a second location in Chesapeake (Western Branch) in 2019 and third location in North Carolina in 2022. Specialties: I work with children as young as two, adolescents, adults with a wide variety of concerns including: parenting, autism, ADD/ADHD, and mood disorders. Counseling individuals, couples and families to break free of bondage caused by things such as anxiety, anger, and depression, to name a few. I have experience in CBT, Play Therapy, EMDR, Christian Counseling, Solution Focused therapy, Marital therapy, Trauma and Sandtray.
What inspired you to work in this field? A passion to support, encourage, and help people discover their strengths and true potential.
What do you do in your free time? Scrapbooking, Camping and spending time with my husband (Mike), son (Preston), two dogs, two cats, and a bearded dragon. Along with my husband, I teach the Riverbend Kids and assist in the Youth group at my church in Suffolk, VA.
