WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO PURSUE A CAREER IN THIS FIELD?
I have always been an advocate for people to receive mental health support. Sometimes it may seem awkward and uncomfortable to talk to a stranger about personal issues, but through my own experience during adolescence I realized how helpful it can be to receive assistance with processing feelings in a nonjudgmental space, hear another perspective, and explore healthy coping strategies. I’ve learned that every human is struggling with something and I wanted to play a role in supporting people in their journey towards contentment.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?
I enjoy spending time outdoors getting natural vitamin D from the sunshine! I love to garden, spend time on the river, and play board games with my two grandsons. I also appreciate evenings that are spent relaxing under a soft blanket while watching a movie with my family.
